Ultimate Support

Be as prepared as possible! This package features add-on private childbirth education in the comfort of your home with just your birth team, as well as the standard 1-2 in-person prenatal visits during your pregnancy. I also provide continuous support during your labour and 1 in-person postpartum follow-up in the weeks following your new arrival.

Bump to Bundle

The gold standard in doula care. During pregnancy, you have 24/7 access to your doula for any questions or concerns you may have. This package also includes 1-2 in-person visits leading up to your birth, then I join you in active labour and stay through the early hours postpartum. Then we meet again in your home to follow up on the birth, support breastfeeding, and check in on your mental health.

Birth & Beginnings

This package features the same dedicated support as the others, but is uniquely crafted for those not needing in-person support at the birth. I meet with you in your home before and after the birth to help, guide, and answer your questions. At the postpartum follow-up visit we will debrief the birth, support breastfeeding, and check in on your mental health.

Lactation Packages

Get the help you need

A CLES (aka Lactation Counsellor) is a non-medical professional trained in the normal management of breastfeeding and lactation. I give you the information and support you need to get breastfeeding off to a good start or to get back on track. My goal is to help you meet your goals! I provide information, make suggestions, help you develop a plan, and support you holistically. I have a practical, gentle approach that draws on what works for you and your family. If the issues you are facing go beyond my scope, I will provide you with the referrals you need and continue to support you as you are treated by other professionals. I am not a board-certified lactation consultant, but if you need the more specialized or clinical care that an IBCLC provides, I can refer you to one.

Lactation services are available as stand-alone services or as add-ons to your doula package.

Prenatal Visit

This will be a 90-120 min private in-home educational visit to help you prepare for your new arrival. In this session you will learn about breastfeeding management and expectations. We will practice breastfeeding positions and hands-on techniques. Your partner is encouraged to join if they are able, so are any other support people such as grandparents or other family members that you wish to attend.

$80 - $100*

Initial Consultation

This 90-120 min in-home consultation occurs after your baby is born. We will take the time to carefully document all the details of your story and the issues you are struggling with. I will offer suggestions and help you develop a plan toward getting breastfeeding back on track, or toward continued success and avoidance of potential pitfalls.

$100 - $120*

Follow-up

Any additional follow-up in-home consultations (usually around 1 hour) can be scheduled to help you carry out the plan, make adjustments, and get into a rhythm with your breastfed baby. We will continue to monitor the situation that was originally causing you to struggle, and also monitor for new struggles that may arise.

5-Day Bundle

Imagine you are struggling to breastfeed and wish you could have someone who is trained and experienced monitor your progress daily in your home. That's what this bundle is designed for. The bundle includes one initial consultation as above plus four follow-up consultations in your home. You can use all these in one week or choose to spread them out. This package offers you daily support until you are feeling more confident and established in your breastfeeding routine.
